2011 SUN HERALD ALL-SOUTH MISSISSIPPI FOOTBALL TEAM

Picayune and Biloxi dominated the Sun Herald?s All South Mississippi football team. The Maroon Tide and Indians each had three selections, tying the most of any Coast school.

Picayune captured two of the individual awards: Coach Dodd Lee was named coach of the year. Linebacker Troy Egana was named defensive player of the year.

Meanwhile, Long Beach linebacker Richie Brown was named the Sun Herald?s player of the year.
